Why the Seahawks are better off than we think

As much as everyone would rather have Kam on the field, for coaches like Pete Carroll, a super star holdout is a dream come true.

2 back-to-back super bowl appearances and a bunch of big paydays likely makes it tough to motivate guys especially for as young as they are but Pete, like most good coaches, has his finest hour and thrives in situations where motivating his team through adversity that's in front of them is necessary. 

Of course we'll see how this all plays out but I think we're not giving enough credit to Pete's ability to motivate and coach - especially through seemingly insurmountable adversity.
